Short-Term Missions Trip to Haiti (2016)
Niemonds Indpendent Church has recently partnered with Juniper Community Missions, led by George and Lori Losch, to minister the gospel message in Haiti through yearly, short-term missions trips. Through these trips, we hope to extend our Christian love in acts of service, fellowship, and teaching to the Haitian people.
From April 23-30, 2016, Niemonds sent a team of nine (9) for our first trip! This group was composed of Scott and Michelle Weidner, Janet Ferster, Isaac Hassinger, Jordan Sheaffer, Kenny and Shellie Kratzer, Pastor Steve Osenga, and John Osenga. We appreciated your prayers for our team: for safety and for evangelical opportunities.

Old is new again! Thank you, Stan Heintzelman, for donating your mother's foot- operated Singer sowing machine for New Horizons Orphanage. No electric needed. Nearly 100 years old and ready to see action again.
Some much needed healthcare for a child on the work site. Sent to a clinic for cough and bad infection on her face. Team gave money to the mother for prescriptions when they returned.
Todd went to bed early after a hard day of work. He was stuck in the concrete after dancing to the praise songs. This is a toy that was given from one of the Sunday School classes at Niemonds Church! Keep a watch as to where he might pop up!
