LifeSavers Youth Group
Wednesday 7:00 - 8:30  pm

Lifesavers Youth Group is an exciting opportunity for the Youth of our church and our community to share in fellowship and study of God's Word. Dealing with issues that face today's teens, the volunteers and leaders are a good source for the Youth to depend on.

Each year, the youth from Lifesavers have the opportunity to attend IMPACT.  At IMPACT they attend many seminars and have the chance to hear from many of today's Youth Speakers.  Throughout the year the teens take part in fundraisers in order to take away the financial burden that this trip might be otherwise.

For more information, contact Bob Leitzel (694-3287).

Junior Mints

Throughout the year, the 3rd-6th graders meet for an afternoon of fun and fellowship.   Activities include bowling, holiday crafts, games and so much more!  Children are invited to participate in the age-appropriate activities as they learn about God.  Times and dates for future events are listed in the bulletin.

Sunday School
Sunday - 9:00 am

Youth Sunday School classes are divided into Junior High (7th & 8th) class taught by Brian Dressler, and Senior High (9th - 12th) class taught by Brian & Mia Hassinger and Steve & Penny Ehrenzeller.

Drama Ministry

The drama ministry at Niemonds Independent Church has existed since the fall of 2004 with its first youth drama, "Hesitation." Since then the program has produced another youth drama, "Revealed" in 2006, and two all-ages-video-recorded dramas, "Bring It Together" in 2009 and "Reminders" in 2010. These two programs incorporated participation from the body at Niemonds as we included cardboard testimony and nailing of the cross at the Good Friday service.

The program has also created some silly skits for Pastor Appreciation each year. The ministry recently began performing drama to music and a group of five youth performed four skits at Salem Baptist Church in North Carolina in June. We hope to offer musical drama quarterly at Niemonds during regular services or as we are presented with the need.

Tabitha Goodling is the director of the program which does not meet on a routine basis. Skits and dramas are performed as the need arises and the director feels led to write a production. Anyone interested in drama ministry is invited to take part in any production. Announcements will be made when a program is in the works. Youth interested in the musical dramas should contact Tabitha at church or at home.
